pawDISTRICT MEETING NOTICE -- The committee meeting for Curriculum, Instruction & Technology scheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. is changed to Monday, September 20, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.  The meeting will be held in the Board Room at the Gauntlett Center, Media Line Road & West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA.  The public is encouraged to attend.

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year and to the Marple Newtown School District website.  Our goal is to provide relevant and timely information about the district and our schools.  I encourage you to familiarize yourself with our website’s homepage and the various district links, as well as the links for the individual schools that your children attend.  You will find these sites to be handy resources for pertinent school and district information.

We continue to journey to become a high performing school district by working to ensure equity and excellence for all students.  Our goal is not just to prepare students to do well in school, but also to prepare them to do well in their careers and lives outside of school.   We are committed to providing students with a broader set of 21st century skills, ones that will ensure their success in a global economy.
